Game Description:
That dreadful long walk when you wake up needing the toilet in the middle of the night, it's awful. Flush Rush is a play on how long that walk feels where you need to "rush" through levels to make it to the toilet in time.
This light hearted first person platformer is designed to be frustrating enough to make you shout "Crap!", but addicting enough to make you keep hitting that retry button.
Design Decisions:
-
In unfamiliar territory- I took this project on specifically as a way for me to learn Unreal Engine 4 in a more practical way rather than learning the engine separately to a project.
-
Fluid movement- As a continuation of my interest in movement mechanics, I wanted this to be the smoothest player controller that I have made. This meant really focusing on making sure that it was as responsive as possible whilst remaining easy to control.
